The Atlanta Braves and Delta Air Lines continue their partnership to honor the legacy of Jackie Robinson by hosting the Atlanta Braves Jackie Robinson Invitational. The event educates youth baseball and softball players about the impact of Jackie Robinson's achievements and allows teams the opportunity to showcase their talent and compete against other teams.

On Saturday & Sunday, April 14^th and 15^th, 2018, sixteen teams ages 6-12 years old will gather at the Atlanta Braves Baseball Academy located at the Villages at Carver Family YMCA to celebrate Robinson's legacy during this annual tournament. The format of the tournament will be two pool play games that lead into a single elimination bracket to determine a winner.

Each team receives the following:

• Guaranteed to play at least 3 games, with the potential to play 4
• A chance to meet a Braves alumni and take a team photo
• Receive a tournament gift bag including a Braves ? t-shirt and book written about Jackie Robinson
• 15 Free Braves Tickets to the Monday, April 16th, Braves vs. Phillies game
• A pregame parade around the warning track at the Braves vs. Phillies game
• Skills competitions, art, essay and poetry contest and more!

There will be four age divisions competing in this tournament:

• 6U Age Division Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢?? 4 teams max
• 8U Age Division Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢?? 4 teams max
• 12U Softball Age Division Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢?? 4 teams max
• 12U Baseball Age Division Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢?? 4 teams max
